Bulk PNG to JPG Converter — Free & Private
Screenshots and exported graphics often land as PNGs that are bigger than they need to be. Converting PNG to JPG flattens them into compact, universally-supported photos. Drop one file or a whole folder, set the quality you want, and download the lot — it all runs in your browser, so nothing uploads and there is no limit.

100% Browser-Local Conversion

The conversion happens locally with your browser's Canvas API, so your images stay private. Each PNG is re-encoded as a JPG, and any transparent areas are filled with a solid background. The result is a smaller file that opens on any phone, app or website without fuss.
Why convert PNG to JPG?
PNG is lossless and brilliant for logos, icons and anything with sharp edges or transparency. But for photographs it can be several times larger than it needs to be. JPEG was designed for photographs, so switching a photo-heavy PNG to JPG usually slashes the file size with no visible loss — handy for email, web pages and upload limits.
PNG vs JPG at a glance
PNG
Lossless, keeps transparency, perfect for graphics and screenshots. Larger files for photos.
JPG
Lossy and compact, ideal for photographs and sharing. No transparency support.
What happens to transparency?
Because JPG can't store transparency, see-through pixels are filled with white when the image is flattened. If you need to keep a transparent background, convert to WebP instead, which stays small and supports an alpha channel. Want to choose a different output altogether? Use the full Image Converter, or shrink the result further with the Bulk Image Compressor.
Frequently asked questions
Is the PNG to JPG converter free?
Yes — it is free with no sign-up and no watermark, and you can convert as many PNG files as you like at once.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG has no transparency, so any see-through pixels are filled with a solid background (white) when the PNG is flattened. If you need to keep transparency, stay with PNG or convert to WebP instead.
Are my PNG files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser with the Canvas API, so your images never leave your device.
Will the JPG look worse than the PNG?
JPG is lossy, so there is some compression — but for photographs the difference is hard to spot, and the file is far smaller. Use the quality slider to find the balance you want.
